  • Anupama’s home modality is Internal-Family Systems Therapy. Working with Anupama can be described best as compassion based. Her therapeutic style is rooted in mindfulness.

    She approaches each session excited to help her clients learn more about themselves and unlearn dominant societal narratives.

  • Anupama’s work often resonates with women of color navigating the layered demands of adulthood, career transitions, graduate school, depression, burnout, and identity exploration. She brings a grounded, contemplative presence to therapy and enjoys working with clients who are curious about mindfulness, reflection, and self-understanding. Meditation experience is not required but is welcome.

  • Anupama believe’s that therapy can take time and can support through various life stages and explore as many parts of yourself that you would like, and when you are ready.

    In a session with Anupama you can expect to be supported and focused in the present. Anupama is collaborative and cultivates a warm and liberatory space.

    Anupama values bottom-up processing: identifying feelings through your body and it’s sensations, and then your brain.
